You may associate conservatories with being particularly large structures, and they are often are. But, it is possible to fashion compact designs, and the Lean-To conservatory is the perfect example of that. Ideal for bungalows and properties with low-pitched roofs, this Lean-To is pleasantly deceiving. It may look small on the outside, but on the inside, it’s a whole different story, and it definitely helps that bi-folding doors have been integrated into the extension as they enable it to be opened out.
A concerted effort was made to ensure that the conservatory makes for a natural extension of the house. It has wonderfully sleek lines and they allow the sun to power its way through to the interior, which explains why a Lean-To is often compared to a traditional sunroom – Lean-To’s make for the sunniest of spaces. We matched the finish on the kitchen window when colouring the conservatory, which boasts a very fashionable grey effect. This same colour was also applied to the guttering around the perimeter of the design and makes it really look the part, not just a functional item.
