Aluminium is fast challenging UPVC as people’s preferred choice of material for their home improvements and it’s doesn’t take much to understand why. It’s incredibly strong and stylish too. You can also mould it to create the sleekest frames you could possibly imagine, and this installation demonstrates that. Aluminium is almost everywhere you look, though it’s easy to miss it just because it can accommodate so much glass, even more glass than a UPVC profile. A modern grey finish was chosen for each product fitted.
Starting with the aluminium bi-folding doors, they allow two different sides of the interior to be opened up and help make the garden feel like an extension of the impressive kitchen. When they’re both opened, you can just imagine the rush of fresh air that fills the inside of the building, which proves a real blessing in summer. More air from the outside can be drawn in by unlocking and freeing open the new windows. In addition to the bi-folds, there are also patio doors and French doors upstairs that provide an entrance onto the first floor balcony. We think we can confidently say that the occupants are big advocates of aluminium, and they’re wise to be so.
