REPLACEMENT TILED ROOF CONSERVATORY
Switching the old roof on your conservatory for an advanced new roof can make a huge difference to how it feels internally.
Hundreds of conservatories across Scotland sit empty and unloved for large parts of the year, but it doesn’t have to be this way. Most of them can be revived by removing their present roofing system for a replacement tiled roof.
Thankfully, this conservatory fell into this category, but before we installed the new roof, we added new white UPVC windows to ensure that the structure was capable of withstanding the weight of the replacement covering. To look at the extension, you would never believe that it has stood there for years, but that’s testament to the work we’ve done on it. Used as a lounge / dining area, the roof window gives it a very spacious feel, as do the spotlights when they’re turned on at night.
At the same time as fitting the roof, we also cracked on with attending to the guttering for the conservatory. It complements the extension perfectly and will function expertly. Conscious of how cold things can get in winter, the occupants asked for a fire to be installed. This will emit so much warmth and generate such a cosy atmosphere inside, making the space feel forever inviting throughout the entire year.
