Heavily influenced by Georgian design, this Gable conservatory has been fully modernised, and features the world’s newest solid roofing system – the Ultraroof.
There are an unbelievable number of talking points when you gain sight of this Georgian conservatory for the first time, including the beautifully intricate Georgian bars, neatly configured guttering, and ‘that’ roof covering. It’s a roofing solution you may not have come across before, but once seen, it’s impossible to forget it. Called the Ultraroof, it has large rectangular glazed panels amongst the authentic tiles for the purpose of bringing lots of natural light into the extension. The downlighters within the internal pelmet can be relied upon to illuminate the interior once the sun goes down.
The roominess of the Gable conservatory has presented so many new opportunities to the occupants. They weren’t slow to install a large dining table and chairs so that they can enjoy mealtimes in the utmost luxury. When the weather permits, they also like to dine al fresco, which explains why they were extremely keen to have French doors included in the extension.
They provide a vast double opening and the perfect outdoor escape when the patio area proves too tempting. There’s no doubt though that the Ultraroof steals the show, and because of its presence, the owners of the conservatory are assured of constant comfort.
